Calacite

Calcite is a carbonate mineral and the most stable polymorph of calcium carbonate.

Calcites Slabs are harder than marble but softer than Granite. We recommend sealing and to avoid cutting over them since they have similar properties to marble

Dolomite

The geological process of conversion of calcite to dolomite is known as dolomitization.

Dolomite Slabs are also sometimes crudely referred as soft Quartzites. Dolomites are harder than marble and Calcites but softer than Granite and Quartzites.

Marble

Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of carbonate minerals that undergo recrystallization due to heat, pressure, and aqueous solutions.

Marble slabs often feature elegant, clean patterns, but they can be porous and require sealing to prevent stains. Additionally, marble is more susceptible to etching and scratching compared to other natural stones.
